In one of the biggest upsets in European Baseball this year, Technika Brno dethroned AVG Draci Brno in the Czech Extraleague. After game three got postponed due to rain on Saturday, Technika won both games one day later to end the reign of the dominating team in Czech Baseball. 8-7 and 6-5 were the results in two thrilling contests, as Technika won the best-of-five series 3-1. AVG Draci had won the last 16 consecutive championships in the Czech Extraleague.
